Goodbyes are never easy and leaving your former home to head to a new safe harbor to maybe call a true home in some future is even harder - ripping yourself out of a comfort zone

But it’s so worth it

Don’t we all just grow with new adventures?

I hope you’ll enjoy yours and will find what you wish for

Thank you so much for sharing, so beautifully, your move to your new house. It is really lovely and It will be even more amazing as you settle in and make it your own. I really like your knitting and I started looking on your Instagram and saw so much that interests me. My husband and I just moved from my home in California to Massachusetts and I am feeling out of sorts at times. I hope we too find a beautiful old house to buy!

So beautiful ❤️. You always take us exactly where you are. It's such a lovely feeling, especially for those of us who don't really get out much. Thank you for the journey. I feel certain your home will be wrapped around you comfortably soon ❤️❤️❤️

I love new beginnings but goodbyes can be so painful. You ask yourself how could your past you bet on yourself hoping things work out, but who better to bet on you than you? This change is also an investment/bet. (Also this was beautifully written. Just as I expected 💜)

This reminds me so much of moving from Richmond up to Northern Virginia back in 2012—though it would be eight more years until the move to the house. I feel this love of a tree-lined [part of] city resonate within me. You leave a part of yourself in a place like that, even if it eventually stops feeling like home.

No regrets ...I sometimes think regrets have a place in our lives. They remind us that we had/have choices and having choices is what true freedom is all about. Thank you for this lovely glimpse into your life.
